John Abbott Continuing Ed with Roger Alalali

What a blast. This is entertainment at its finest. Roger keeps us engaged completely for 2 and a half hours. His best lesson is his attitude to life. He wins the prize for living life to the fullest.

We have focused on verbs "er" with avoir and now with Etre and small phrases

We are big into translation through journals and stories

He keeps the class engaged with vrai ou faux? His lifetime experiences become such a source of novelty and wonder!

Meetup in Hudson

It was fun but we did not speak a word of French. I tried one sentence but it was wrong. We had three hours of fun gabbing.

Apps apps apps

Just using busuu and duolingo in reality you have to pay the fee for them
Je suis etudie duoligo et busuu. It feels like the Internet has just become an expensive bookstore. Sometimes I just wish there were well stocked libraries with these resources for free. Again the rich can do something but the poor cannot.

Going to trace my path to learning French

My New Years resolution was not to become a domestic goddess but a french learning goddess...

I can honestly say learning a language seems really hard to me so it is probably worth it. 6 months of retirement in my beautiful little cottage in Rigaud has not made me a fan of domestic engineering. While I love cooking and decorating...washing up and laundry seems to be my focus with weekly visits from expensive trades people.
